MANILA, Philippines — Alex Eala made her second straight Worldwide Tennis Federation (ITF) singles semifinal this month as she remained unstoppable within the W40 Kyotec Open.
The 18-year-old Eala dominated qualifier Jasmijn Gimbrere of the Netherlands, 6-3, 6-2, within the quarterfinal on Friday evening (Manila time) in Petange, Luxembourg.
Eala, the ninth seed of the event, battles Anna-Lena Friedsam within the semifinal on Saturday night.
