Casa Bonita’s new limited-edition snowboard, made by Meier Skis, costs $995. (Provided by Casa Bonita)

The restaurant recently partnered with Denver-based Meier Skis on a special edition ski and snowboard design. The graphic, created by local artist Matt Leunig, features a colorful picture of the famous pink palace and its fountain against some mountains. The words “Casa Bonita” are emblazoned in big letters, lest anyone question which local landmark you’re sporting.

Leunig’s design is also available as a poster ($99.95-$119.95) at shop.casabonitadenver.com.

Meier will make 500 units of the Casa Bonita design; skis are customized to order while the snowboard comes in Meier’s Outlaw all-mountain shape. A pair of skis costs $1,249 and a snowboard costs $995. Either one can be adapted into wall art for $849 and $649, respectively.
